LBYH/High School 5 Minutes of Fame Games Information

The Lexington High School and Bedford High School Boys Hockey programs invite your LBYH team to take part in one of their home games this season. LBYH and LHS/BHS hockey are coming together to share what our children's hockey future could look like!

Your LB team will get the chance to cheer on the varsity players as they take the ice, watch warm-ups from the bench, watch the game from a specially designated area and play in a 5 Minutes of Fame game during one of the period breaks.

The mission is to encourage our young LBYH players to continue to be a part of their town hockey programs and get excited for what’s to come in high school.  Whether it means playing for BHS or LHS hockey. Younger players always look up to the big kids, and this will help them make the connection to their future as a Lexington or Bedford high school player…and aspire to be a Buccaneer or Minuteman.

LBYH Rookie Mite and Squirt teams are assigned to participate in one game.  In order for us to ensure there will be enough kids participating, we ask that you reach out to your parents as soon as possible and get their commitment to your assigned game.

Please RSVP on behalf of your team no later than December 17th

We would like to have a minimum of 12 players participate (2 goalies and 5-on-5).  If you are having trouble getting players, let us know as soon as possible so we can try to work something out.

Prior to your scheduled game, you will receive a detailed email with all the information you will need, such as timing, what to wear, what to expect, etc.

To help you with logistics, we request that you have at least 1 coach on the ice and 1 on the bench, and at least 2 parent volunteers to help manage the players.

Questions? Contact Maura Fiske ( ).

We look forward to a great season!

Thank you.
